Filter, Search and Paging in MediatR

Overview

The list view has various tools to help you locate transactions that you are interested in.

Searching

  1. Depending upon transaction type, you should be presented with:
    1. Patient Surname - Enter the name, or at least the first few letters
    2. External Reference - Enter the reference ID. This has to be an exact match.
  2. Click the Filter button to update the results

On completion, the interface should refresh.

Deleting the contents of the search box will show all transactions.

Filtering

There are the following controls that can be used to filter selected results.

  1. Date Range - You an select the From and To dates for your search.
  1. Issues - A toggle slider which, if selected, will only return results that have abnormal statuses.
  2. Archive - Another toggle slider that determines whether to include Archived results or not.
  3. Sort Order - You can sort with dates ascending or descending via these radio buttons.
  4. Filter - Click this to refresh the results when you have adjusted the other settings

On completion, the interface should refresh.

Paging

Searches can return a potentially very large number of results, so these will typically be paged. The following controls are available.

  1. The Previous and Next buttons will move backwards and forwards one page.
  2. The numbered buttons will jump to a specific page.
  3. You can also jump to any page from the Page Number drop down.
  4. The Page Size drop down will allow you to adjust the number of results show. Larger numbers may result in slower updates and take a while to scroll up and down.
