How to Archive or Restore a Transaction

Overview

Transactions can be archived when you no longer want them to appear in search results. For example, you might have noted when payment is received and have no further immediate interest, or wish to hide a transaction which failed for some reason.

They will remain stored in the database, if later retrieval is required, you can use the Archive Filter or Restore them so that they will appear in searches once more.

This article outlines the process of archiving and/or restoring a transaction in MediatR.

Archiving a Transaction

  1. Search for and identify transactions which you wish to Archive; such as claims that you’re satisfied have been dealt with.
  2. Tick the Check Boxes on the left hand column for the transactions that you wish to Archive. Note: you may select any number of transactions, or you may check ALL transactions by ticking the Check Box in the header row of the table.
  3. Click the Archive button
  4. Confirm in the dialog box to archive..... fix this matt

On completion, the interface should refresh and the transactions which were archived will generally disappear from view.

Archived transactions can be viewed by adjusting filters. See the How to Filter Transactions article.

This process is entirely reversible. Transactions which have been inadvertently archived can be easily restored following the process described below.

Restoring a Transaction

  1. Adjust the Archive toggle slider and click the Filter button to update the list.
See Filter, Search and Paging in MediatR for a more detailed guide to filtering.
  1. Drill down into the transaction you wish to restore. This can be done by clicking on the External Reference or Patient Name columns depending upon the type of transaction.
  2. Click the Restore button
  3. Confirm in the dialog box to restore

As with Archiving, this process is reversible. You can immediately archive a transaction that just just been restored by clicking on the Archive button.
